The Trinity College Law Review is Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious student-edited law review. It is edited and published entirely by the students of Trinity College Dublin. The TCLR acts as a forum for legal debate and as a means of encouraging legal writing and research among students.
The TCLR is now recruiting a panel of Junior Freshman students students for the Junior Editorial Board. Members of the Junior Editorial Board assist the Senior Editorial Board in editing articles for publication in the TCLR, assist in organising events throughout the year that promote legal writing and discussion, and receive exclusive networking experience with Arthur Cox and TCLR alumni.
All JF Law students are welcome to apply.
Applicants must attend ONE of the two recruitment sessions we are hosting on:
Thursday 20 October, 3pm. Venue: Arts Block 5040; and
Friday 21 October, 2pm. Venue: Arts Block 3070.
At the recruitment session, applicants will be required to:
– Critique a piece of writing provided to them; and
– Briefly outline in writing why they should be on the Junior Editorial Board.
The Junior Editorial Board is a wonderful opportunity for any student seeking in developing their legal writing and getting involved with an academic publication. We are conscious you have just begun your studies, so do not worry about lack of experience. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email Feidhlim Mac Róibín at editor@trinitycollegelawreview.org.
